The property is located in the lovely area of Gran Alacant - just 20 minutes south of Alacante town and a pleasant stroll away from beaches, shops, bars and restaurants.

 

The town has a local market and a number of restaurants offering both local and international cuisine.  There are plenty of Blue Flag beaches in the area, ideal for friends and family to soak up the sun and swim in the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean sea.  Land adjacent to the urbanization is a protected natural area - ideal for bird watching and walking. There is a local ferry to a small island two miles of the coast. There are also several golf courses within easy reach.

 

The Airport is only 10 minutes drive away.  For those of you who prefer a more lively holiday Santa Pola has a number of bars and clubs.  Both Alicante and Benidorm are within easy reach by either car or public transport. Torrevieja is only 30 minutes away by car or bus.

 

Theme Parks and nightlife:

 

There are three theme parks for children of all ages at Benidorm. Terra Mitica Theme park: Terra Natura Safari and water park: Aqualandia large water park and Mundomar marine and exotic animal centre. There is also the safari park Rio Safari on the Santa Pola to Elche Road.  Nightlife here includes Benidorm Palace (meal and Show).  Nightlife in Santa Pola includes Santa Pola Palace (meal and show).

 

Other places to visit:

 

Go up the lift to Alicante Castle for fantastic views over the town and Mediterranean. See Guadalest Moorish castle up in the mountains (coach trips available). Stroll in the palm forest and gardens of Elche. Marvel at the Gothic cathedral of Santa Maria in Murcia. Treat yourself at the natural spa and beauty treatment north of Murcia. Watch out for 'blanket trips' at the local markets. These trips are entirely free apart from watching an half hour film on blanket making, but there is no pressure to buy and it provides a leisurely, cheap day out.
